Humble Beginnings
Dibor was founded in 2005, and our journey began in the historic Yorkshire spa town of Harrogate. Our family run business in the early days was a mail order company, which depended on traditional pen-and-paper forms and catalogues to help our small business grow.

Growth
Our care and dedication paid off and we really started to see Dibor thrive in a short space of time. In the same year, we were able to set down new roots in the industrial heart of West Yorkshire, in a long-standing textile mill built from local stone.

Online Presence
This new home was the start of another chapter for Dibor, which saw our online presence blossom. Now with a curated website and starting footholds on other marketplaces, our small business grew and grew.
2006
Out with the Old
Though there were many happy memories to be shared in our home in West Yorkshire, time was beginning to show its signs on the historic mill, and cold, draughty winters in our warehouse meant it was time to close its doors for good.

The Big Move
Still owned and operated by the same family since we began, Dibor’s success meant we could spread our wings and move to bigger and better things. Our team of new faces and old began a new journey in modern and sustainable premises in South Yorkshire.

We recognise our responsibility to our world and our big move inspired a change in us. We work with our partners in the UK, Europe and further afield to passionately design and create sustainable, timeless and cherished pieces to play a part in your world.

Brighter Times
Encouraged by the fresh start our big move inspired in us, Dibor saw lots of positive changes. We launched more projects to improve our sustainability, as well as developing a new and improved website. More leaves have sprouted on the Dibor family tree, and our incredible team are so excited to see what the future has to offer together!
