Throughout the years since we were founded, we at Dibor have always strived to support charities both close to home and further afield. As a small, family-run business, we understand the importance of doing what we can to help others as much as possible.

Charity & Supporting Campaigns

Each Charity that we support holds a huge place in our hearts. Have a look through our past campaigns and how we have raised money and helped local organisations:

Women's Aid

Each year, 2024 included, Dibor’s female staff come together to celebrate International Women’s Day. This year, we took our first women’s group photo together with our full team and donated 10% of orders for 1 week to Women’s Aid in honour of the event, with profits going towards helping women and children who have been victims of domestic abuse. We raised a huge £741.10p for the worthy charity.

Ukraine Support

In March 2022, we designed an 'I Stand with Ukraine' t-shirt and donated 100% of profit from the orders to the British Red Cross DEC Ukraine Appeal. We managed to raise £336.98 for the incredibly worthy charity.

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce

In 2023, we worked with Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce in the Shaping Futures Project. Working closely with local schools, we helped to inspire them to gain a head start in their professional lives and discover the possibilities of a rewarding career. “We are incredibly proud to contribute to the Shaping Futures project, and be involved with a leading local education provider." -Sameer Sharma, Dibor Director

Stock Donations

We also donate a lot of our stock to local hospices and organisations where we can:

Forget Me Not Hospice

In previous years, we have donated to our local Forget Me Not hospice. This amazing organisation is led by nurses and therapists, helping parents and families through pregnancy, childhood and loss – an important cause which we hold close in our hearts. Products were donated to be sold in their shops, the profits contribute to supporting Russell House, a children's hospice in West Yorkshire.

Aid For Ukraine

In 2022, we donated stock for the people of Ukraine. We worked closely alongside Huddersfield Ukrainian Club to show our support for the country and to help in any way that we can. #standwithukraine

Wakefield Hospice

We have also supported Wakefield hospice which offers care to those with advanced, life-threatening illnesses. We are so awed by the dedication of these hard-working people, and are so proud to help fund their vital missions.

Rush House Ltd

We worked with Rush House, who offer accommodation and support services to young people. "It goes without saying that this donation will be of huge benefit. We have a young woman who has been offered an independent tenancy – she came to us concerned as to how she would make this property 'homely'. I was able to show her the donated items and let her choose some. These little touches mean so much."- Lisa Rachieru, Head of Services at Rush House

Salvation Army

We donated stock to our local Salvation Army, where they work closely with families in crisis and those facing challenging times. We pride ourselves on working sustainably and donating items that would have ordinarily gone to waste and this partnership work has allowed us to do just that, whilst supporting our local community.
